Welcome back, Summit Kids!

Tomorrow morning is the first time in over a year that we will be able to have Children’s Ministry during our Sunday morning worship services! We are really looking forward to seeing kids in Summit Kids classes again. It is such an exciting time! To be able to see their smiling faces, to hear their laughter as they play, and to watch them grow as they learn more about Jesus. It truly warms our hearts. While we are all about having fun and playing games, here at Summit Ridge Church, we strive to make much of Jesus, even in our Children’s Ministry Summit Kids. Our desire is to make disciples that make disciples.

Over the past year we have had a number of great volunteers with a heart to come alongside Summit Ridge Church to serve the families that call Summit Ridge Church their home. They have taught bible lessons to our Lunch Club Kids (the 2-year-olds through 2nd Graders) over Zoom, and delivered lessons and crafts. For our Explorers, the 3rd through 5th Graders, volunteers lead their Small Group over Zoom and in person alternating weekly. For the behind the scene work, volunteers and staff members have helped to ensure videos are made and the Summit Kids webpages were maintained and updated. It has been such a blessing to see them sacrifice their time, money, and energy for our children. Thank you!

As we have started the process of rebooting Summit Kids, many of you have already volunteered to serve as Teachers and Assistants, asking to be placed where the need is greatest! What a blessing! However, we still have spots to fill to allow each volunteer to serve one service once a month. We ask that you pray for Summit Kids. Pray for the volunteers already signed up to serve, pray for our children and their families, and pray for more volunteers.

If you would like to know more, or are interested in volunteering as a Teacher or an Assistant, please visit our Summit Kids webpage at Summit Ridge Church - Summit Kids and fill out the communication card at the bottom of the page.

We look forward to seeing all of you and your children tomorrow morning.

God Bless, Pastor Jeremy

Note to Parents: We ask that you drop your child in the Summit Kids class your child is assigned prior to entering the service. The teachers will give your child a nametag and you will be provided a security pick-up tag. Please be sure to have this with you when picking up your child. We kindly request that you promptly pick up your child following the service.
