Prayers Answered We Have a New Associate Pastor Coming

Today we have some very exciting and thankful news to share for our church family: Prayers answered, we have a new associate pastor coming!
 
After many months of praying and conducting a thorough search for a new associate pastor the Lord has graciously answered us. We will be welcoming Marc Guite and his wife Christine to our church family. Marc will begin on December 1st which we are thrilled about!
 
Marc is a passionate pastor with over 20 years of diverse pastoral experience serving and leading in the church. He is well suited for this role here at Summit. He is coming on to lead various ministries from our Small Group ministry, the Children’s ministry, local outreach, and a few other areas of responsibility. Marc is very gifted and ready for this next part of their journey in ministry.
 
They will be moving from Manteca, California where he has been on staff since 2018. He and Christine will also be marking their 30th anniversary next year (just like Angela and I). They have three kids but are now empty-nesters. Fun fact, Marc’s parents live here in town too, so they are fairly familiar with Vegas!
 
There are a number of significant changes for Marc and Christine over the next few weeks. They are making the final announcement of the transition at their church this weekend and will begin the big job of making a move here. Will you pray for them? There is the move, saying goodbye to many that they love, the transition into a new church family with new people and new ministries. Many, many adjustments!
 
I am eager to introduce them to you in person in just a few weeks. I am so thankful to our Father as He writes this story. It is clear how He’s been working!
